Programme Features

1. The Sino-UK programmes are one of the internationalized education strategies of JXUT and we believe that the UK validation will reinforce our quality of education and specialties in subject areas.

2. The curriculum delivered within the programmes are qualified by both Chinese and UK higher education benchmarks and standards, which will improve students’ overall capabilities when they may compete worldwidely. Upon graduation, students will be awarded degrees from both China and UK, and students could benefit from the programme when they are going to pursue study abroad opportunities.

3. Students who are enrolled in in these programmes can be awarded with UK degrees without studying abroad, which could save additional expense such as transport, accommodation and living .

4. Students will have access to various learning opportunities, and be able to increase the view of internationalization during thinking. And they will be benefited in future employment or business ventures. In addition, student’s enhanced English proficiency will support to be capable to start career in multinational companies.

 

学位授予

1. 相较于普通专业只符合中国教学质量标准，中英联合培养项目符合中英两国的教学质量标准；

2. 相较于普通专业只颁发中国的学位证书，中英联合培养项目在学生符合毕业条件的情况下，颁发中国和英国两个学位证书；

3. 本项目颁发的两个学位，中国学位获得中国教育部认可，英国学位符合英国QAA的要求。

Degree Awarding

1. Compared with common programmes which are only qualified by Chinese higher education standards, the Sino-UK programmes are qualified by both Chinese and UK higher education standards.

2. Compared with common programmes which are only qualified by China higher education standards, students will be awarded both Chinese and UK degrees upon the graduation of Sino-UK programmes.

3. As for the two degrees awarded, the Chinese degree is under the supervising by the Ministry of Education of China and the UK degree is awarded is under UK QAA regulations and policies.

1. 独立小班：本项目采用小班教学模式（每班25~30人），以加强本项目学生的学习体验（正常班级规模为40~60人），尤其是让学生更能从互动教学中获益，进一步加强学生在本项目学习的整体体验。

2. 扩展教学资源：本项目引进业界或更广泛的专家，包括海外资源，以补充和支持教学活动的开展。为学生提供新兴的知识和技能，帮助他们实现学习目标，同时获得更好的就业能力。

Study Experience

1. Smaller-size class: The programmes will be conducted with smaller-size class (25~30 students in each class) to enhance the study experience of the students against common class size(40~60 students in each class). particularly, students can be benefited from the interactions during teaching, to further improve the overall study experience.

2. Expanded teaching resources: The programmes bring in industry experts or resources in broader fields, including overseas resources to supplement and support teaching activities. We provide students with emerging knowledge and skills to support them achieve their learning objectives as well as obtaining better employability.

3. Integration of traditional and western education methodology: We not only convey the knowledge, but also encourage students to be participated in the process of teaching, to improve the presentation, debating, critical thinking and self-study. This will be reinforced by a diverse range of faculty members and exclusive hardware resources.

4. Implementation of UK Higher Education Standards: The curricula and learning outcomes of the programmes are qualified under the UK higher education standards.

5. Multicultural teachers: Teachers with international study experience have the understanding nature of the programmes and have better capabilities to ensure the delivery of the programmes. On the other hand, those teachers will also develop concept of oversea study to students.

6. Exclusive hardware resources: There are exclusive digitalized classrooms and teaching resources for the programmes to support a better teaching and learning experience.
